Famed Hells Angels biker Chuck Zito was arrested and processed in New York City after an illegal license plate on his vintage 1968 Chevelle SS caught the attention of NYPD patrol cars.
In a post on Instagram, Zito expressed his frustration, writing that he was pulled over while driving on a highway in The Bronx and accused of having an illegal Florida license plate. Despite showing the officer his car registration and insurance card matching the plate, he was taken to the 45th Precinct stationhouse in Throggs Neck, where he was "booked, fingerprinted, and mug shots taken."
Zito claims he was placed in a small cell with five other men before being moved to another room and cuffed to a bench for four hours until his release without bail on a misdemeanor charge of possessing a forged instrument. He described the experience as "one HELLAVA DAY."
NYPD sources confirmed that a patrol cop pulled Zito over due to a "dealer plate" on his Chevelle, which turned out to be fake upon running the license plate.
