Pee-wee Herman’s Bicycle from “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” Sells for Over $100K
A rep for Van Eaton Galleries confirms to TMZ that the screen-used stunt bike from the 1985 cult classic Pee-wee’s Big Adventure, ridden by the late Paul Reubens, sold for a whopping $125K on Saturday.
The bicycle is one of only 14 created for the film and has been slightly restored to appear more authentic, but original elements have been preserved.
Fans will remember it from iconic scenes like Pee-wee crashing into a curb or swinging on a vine during the thrilling chase scene at Warner Bros. studio lot.
Paul Reubens’s beloved character continues to live on through this piece of film history.
