Volkswagen Taigun Facelift: First Teaser Released Ahead Of 9th April Launch

After testing the Taigun for months, it seems like Volkswagen is finally ready to launch the Taigun facelift in the Indian market. We have seen several test mules and almost production-ready versions of the updated facelift on our roads. Now, we have a video released by Volkswagen India that teases the upcoming Taigun facelift along with its official launch date.
Key Highlights:
- Launch date: April 9, 2026
- Revised front end design including sleeker headlamps and a new grille
- Updated bumper and lower air dam
- New alloy wheel designs expected
- Retain side profile with possible roof rails, shark-fin antenna, and integrated roof spoiler
- Revised tail lamps with LED elements
- Similar interior to the current model but with updated colour themes
- Features: panoramic sunroof, leatherette seats, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, 10.25-inch driver display, touchscreen infotainment (Apple CarPlay & Android Auto), wireless phone charger
- Same engine options: 1.0L TSI 3-cyl turbo petrol (115 PS/178 Nm) with 6-speed manual or new 8-speed automatic transmission
